Prince Harry Mixes It Up in Jamaica in Black Tie and Army Gear

Share on :

Prince Harry had a packed schedule during his Jamaican tour yesterday. He started the afternoon racing - and beating - Usain Bolt, then changed into a linen suit to visit with youngsters at the Bustamente Children's Hospital. Harry's four day stay in Jamaica is part of a royal family-wide tour in honor of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth's upcoming Diamond Jubilee.

Harry later met up with Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller for a photo call on the steps the national monument Devon Hall. He and the prime minister were together again for an evening reception just ahead of a black tie state dinner at King's House. Speaking of the hospitality of the Jamaican people thus far, Harry said from a podium, "I haven't been here for long, but if I had, I'm not sure my grandmother would get me back." The pictures and hand-shaking continued this morning when the Prince donned his army uniform to visit the Up-Park Camp in Kingston.
