Miss Universe 2009 Stefanía Fernández

Stefanía Fernández born on September 4, 1990 in Mérida, Venezuela. She is 5ft 10in tall Venezuelan model.

She is the reigning Miss Universe 2009 who was crowned Miss Universe on August 23, 2009 by outgoing titleholder Dayana Mendoza at Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas.

Fernández won the Miss Venezuela 2008 title in a pageant held in Caracas on September 10, 2008.

This marks the first time in Miss Universe history the same country won the crown in consecutive years.

Ekta Choudhry was the official participant from India.

Ekta Choudhary

Ekta Choudhary born on 31st March 1986 in Baghdad, Iraq. She is the winner of the prestigious Pantaloons Femina Miss India Universe 2009 title and will represent India at the Miss Universe 2009 competition on August 23, 2009 in Nassau, Bahamas.

She is 5ft 9.5in tall trained classical dancer, having completed 9 years of Bharatnatyam as well as a bit of Odissi and Kathak. 

Pooja Chopra won the Miss India World title while Shriya Kishore won Miss India Earh title in 2009.

Lara Dutta

Lara Dutta is a Miss Universe 2000 title holder, model cum Indian actress who is performing as Billu's wife Bindiya in Priyadarshan's directed latest Bollywood movie called Billu ( originally titled Billu Barber). Irfan Khan and Shahrukh Khan are lead actors of the film. Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are giving special appearances in Billu.

Lara is appearing as female lead actress after a very long time in Billu. Lara is also filming for Blue, Banda Yeh Bindaas Hain, Do Knot Disturb and Devdas.

Lara Dutta is 5ft 8in tall hot actress of Indian film industry and UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador. She won the Miss Universe title in 2000 with the highest possible marks in the history of the Miss Universe Contest. She was second Miss Universe from India, first was Sushmita Sen in 1994.

Her latest Bollywood releases are Jhoom Barabar Jhoom where she performed along with Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol and Partner where she is performing along with Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Govinda.

Miss Universe 2007 : Miss Japan Riyo Mori

Riyo Mori won the Miss Universe 2007 title in Mexico City, Mexico on May 28, 2007. “My mind went blank,” she said of the winning moment.

Riyo Mori was born on December 24, 1986 in Aoi-ku, Shizuoka, Japan. She is a vivaciuos Japanese dance instructor. Mori was crowned Miss Universe Japan on 15 March 2007 by outgoing titleholder Kurara Chibana.

In Miss Universe 2007 competition she achieved the highest score in the swimsuit competition, which advanced her to the top ten and the evening gown competition, in which she placed fourth. At the conclusion of the competition, she was crowned Miss Universe, becoming the second woman from Japan to hold the title. Mori is the eighth Asian woman to win the pageant, the most recent being Lara Dutta of India who was Miss Universe 2000. She received the crown from last year's winner, Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico.
