Julia Goerges got knocked out of the 2011 Australian Open in the third round by Maria Sharapova. The German has one career WTA title to date and career-high singles ranking to date of 38th.

Julia Goerges was a first-round loser at Wimbledon 2009, but she's always a winner with us. Goerges, from Germany, entered Wimbledon with a WTA singles rank of No. 93. She was beaten in the first round by the sixth seed and former world No. 1 Jelena Jankovic, 6-4, 7-6.
