Natalie Gulbis recently won her first golf tournament, all the stories included some variation of, "At least Gulbis won't be compared to Anna Kournikova anymore."
It's true that Kournikova never lived up to the hype in tennis - at least in singles. But maybe she just wasn't good enough, you know? Maybe she just didn't have the talent on the tennis courts to become a winner in singles. She did win plenty of major doubles titles, however.
